國際圓點(diǎn)日 | International Dot Day
 

　　上周五，我們?cè)?ldquo;學(xué)習(xí)成果展示早會(huì)(COLA)”上慶祝了“國際圓點(diǎn)日”。東華文澤學(xué)校的同學(xué)們展示了他們的創(chuàng)意，以及在過去兩周不同學(xué)科里學(xué)習(xí)到的知識(shí)。

　　We had a blast celebrating the International Dot Day at the COLA (Celebration Of Learning Assembly) last Friday. It showcased their creativity and learning over the last 2 weeks in different subjects.
 

　　“我很高興我們慶祝的第一個(gè)國際活動(dòng)是跟創(chuàng)造力、勇敢和自我表達(dá)有關(guān)的活動(dòng)，這正好符合了TWIS的愿景 - 希望培養(yǎng)出具有勇敢、好奇和創(chuàng)造性等特質(zhì)的。”

　　全校上下從總校長Arturo Ruelas、校長Ann Gaillard、老師、教職員到學(xué)生們都參與慶?；顒?dòng)。

　　大家穿上波點(diǎn)服裝、畫好彩妝，準(zhǔn)備開始早會(huì)的表演!

　　Everyone in the school including the Head of Schools, Mr. Arturo Ruelas, the Principal, Ms. Ann Gaillard, teachers, staff and students participated in the celebration.

　　Wearing polka dot clothes and getting the face painting done, we were all set to kick off the event!

　　小學(xué)部和中學(xué)部的同學(xué)們給我們帶來了一個(gè)精彩的演出。在音樂老師用心指導(dǎo)下，大家合唱了國際圓點(diǎn)日的主題曲。

　　小小的圓點(diǎn)可以是考試你創(chuàng)造力的謎題，也可以是幫助你應(yīng)對(duì)不同數(shù)學(xué)難題的解題方法。

　　中學(xué)同學(xué)和他們的數(shù)學(xué)老師準(zhǔn)備了一些數(shù)學(xué)題來考考家長和同學(xué)們。

　　Dots can be puzzles to test your creativity but also be solutions to different challenges.

　　“國際圓點(diǎn)日”是為了鼓勵(lì)所有人不論年紀(jì)大小，勇于發(fā)掘自己的才能，和分享自己的創(chuàng)意以激勵(lì)他人。

　　在班主任和視覺藝術(shù)老師的指導(dǎo)下，不同年級(jí)的TWIS學(xué)生創(chuàng)作了不同類型的藝術(shù)作品，并在禮堂上展覽出來。

　　On International Dot Day, people of all ages are encouraged to embrace their talents and share their creativity to inspire others.

　　Under the guidance of their homeroom and visual arts teachers, TWIS students in different grades created various types of artwork that were proudly displayed in the auditorium.
